IMPORTANT PARKSIDE INFORMATION

 

Students may enter the building at 7:45.  They can eat breakfast in the cafeteria or go to the gym to wait for the bell at 8:00. At that time, students may go to the classroom.  Students are counted tardy if they are not in their seats in the classroom at 8:10.  

Parents must have a valid background check done each year in order to volunteer in the classroom or to attend a field trip.  Please contact Mrs. Ebersold at 812-376-4314 if you have any questions.

If your student will be absent, please let the office know by 8:30 in the morning.  We will need to know the student's name, teacher name, and the student's symptoms/reason for not attending school.

If your student has an appointment and needs to be picked up, please come to the office and we will call the student to come to meet you.  You can let the teacher know ahead of time on parent square but you do not need to let the office know.  We will not have students come to the office until you arrive.  We want students to be in class as much as possible.  

Each month a parent newsletter will be sent out on Parent Square.  Parent Square is how we send out most of our information.  If you do not have access to Parent Square and need help, please contact the office.

PreK is opening enrollment for the 26-27 school year on January 1st.  

Kindergarten enrollment for the 26-27 school year will begin in early March.  Enrollment will be online or at the Enrollment Center. More information to come later from the Enrollment Center.  Click on the link below for more information.
